Join MASS LBP's Peter MacLeod for a special MASS Talk about The New Rules of Engagement.

For the past 18 months we’ve hosted MASS Talks as a way to feature thinkers who have their finger on the pulse of the big ideas that are shaping public life and public policy. We’ve studiously tried to avoid connecting what we do with the great people we host, but by popular demand we’ve decided to make an exception. Time and again nice people have said, “Okay, these ideas are great. But what exactly does MASS do?”

On the occasion of our 30th month of operations and our 10th Civic Lottery, we thought we’d take our best shot at giving you an answer, and a true behind-the-scenes look at our work and thinking at MASS LBP.

Peter will talk about our recent projects, and examine how our approach to public engagement influences the way we've come to think about the public and design our projects.

We guarantee that some of our ideas aren't what you'll expect — but the New Rules of Engagement work and we'll try to explain why.

If you're responsible for community or stakeholder relations in your organization, this talk will give you fresh ideas for interacting with the public.

If you're interested in the future of responsible government, this talk will explain how a young organization with a funny name is trying to put its ideas about democracy into practice.

MASS Talks are monthly, standing-room only events where new voices with big ideas talk about the trends that are shaping public life and public policy.

We're always looking to meet new people; send this invitation to someone you know: Tweet #MASStalk or send friends to masstalk12.eventbrite.com.
